I expected to rest a bit this weekend. To get a few papers graded. To play some games. Perhaps start my next painting.
But then in Los Angeles a water heater gave up the ghost.
I worked for hours in this muddy mess removing the old one and beginning the process of installing a tankless heater. I didn’t get very far. A pipe nipple broke. A T fitting was stripped. The store that sold me the unit didn’t have the bits and pieces necessary to install the unit. They don’t even carry the kind of vent pipe this unit needs.
So today, I miss a friend’s baptism and dive back in… knowing that I’m really just starting.
And the only thing I’m looking forward to is breakfast.
