In Memorium

When the heat is unbearable, and you have walked yourself weary

You may dip your toes in the fountain of my sorrows

Walk the hallowed stones beneath the crystal surface
With your shoes off and pants rolled up
Cool yourself and breath in the fragrance of the flowers
And take full advantage of this sea of tears
And remember with me
The life of my son.
This is a place of reflection
And think upon life and mortality
You need not be sad
Or quiet

or dry.
Dip your toes in the fountain
And cool your feet in the water.
